FME’s Hot Laminators are designed to laminate a variety of continuous films (polyethylene, PVC, etc.) to the hot metal strip as it exits the finish oven. The laminating rolls can be interchanged with embossing rolls in order for the laminator to be transformed into a unit for embossing the top coating layer of a previously coated strip. Laminators can be supplied for one or two sided laminating.

• Automatic steering of the film to ensure it is applied accurately in relation to the metal substrate.
